Reporting a scanning problem?

Please include:

  • The QR type (URL, Wi-Fi, vCard…) and design settings you used.
  • The phone model and the app you scanned with.
  • The downloaded file if possible — but please don't send real passwords or payment details. Recreate the problem with dummy data instead.

Before you write

Most scanning problems have a quick fix. Check the checklist of reasons QR codes fail to scan, make sure the code is printed large enough with the QR code size calculator, and keep any logo within the limits in the logo guide.

What we can and can't help with

We're happy to help with formats, design, printing and bugs in the generator. We don't offer dynamic QR codes, scan tracking or editing of printed codes — the static vs dynamic guide explains why. Privacy questions are covered in the privacy policy, and usage rights in the terms of use.
