Privacy policy

Short version: your QR content never leaves your device.

Last updated

1. What we don't collect

MyQRGenerator creates QR codes with JavaScript that runs in your browser. The content you enter (links, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, payment details, text), the logos you upload and the CSV files you use for bulk generation are processed on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no database, no user accounts and no server that receives this data.

2. What is processed when you visit

Like every website, our pages are delivered by a hosting provider/CDN, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser user agent and the requested URL in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. This is handled by the hosting provider under its own privacy terms and is typically kept only in short-lived logs. We do not use these logs to identify you.

3. Local storage on your device

We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

This site currently uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising.

5. Links inside QR codes

We don't run a redirect or tracking service. Scans of codes you create go directly to the content you encoded; we can't see them.

6. Children

MyQRGenerator is a general-purpose tool and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Your rights

Because we don't hold personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have questions or believe we hold data about you, contact us.

8. Changes

If this policy changes — for example when ads are enabled — we will update this page and the date above. This policy is provided by the MyQRGenerator team.
