Great for
- Weddings and parties — a save-the-date code on the invitation card.
- Webinars, workshops and conferences — sessions on posters and badges.
- Appointments — clinics and salons can print the next visit on the receipt.
- Product launches and sales — remind customers when the doors open.
How to make one
- Enter the event title, start and end time (or switch on All-day).
- Add the location and a short description — keep it brief so the code stays easy to scan.
- Download and test on an iPhone and an Android phone.
What's inside the code
MyQRGenerator writes a standard iCalendar event (BEGIN:VEVENT … END:VEVENT) with properly escaped text and times in UTC, so commas, semicolons and line breaks in your description don't break the format.
Tips
- Pair it with a location QR code so guests can navigate to the venue.
- For a live agenda that may change, use a URL QR code to your event page instead.
- Long descriptions make dense codes — print at least 3 cm wide (see the size guide).
